• Working Principle of Top Packer

Initiate setting by dropping a setting ball and filling the string with completion fluid. Apply hole pressure to sequentially shear pins, prompting the upper gauge ring to activate a specialized locking mechanism. The rubber cylinder then undergoes radial elastic deformation, achieving successful setting.
During radial expansion, the rubber cylinder experiences axial displacement. Upon shearing the retainer ring's pin, the slip cage and upper cone advance, with the lower cone anchored, thereby activating and extending the slip, leading to the packer's setting. Post string bleed-off, the check ring secures the components in their set position.

Service Tool Working Principle
Deploy the top packer alongside the sand-control string. Set it by dropping a ball into the drill pipe, activating an internal shield module and piston. The packer is then freed through hydraulic or mechanical reverse release, with the packer service tool retrieved post-completion.
Retrieving Principle

To retrieve the packer, employ a specialized retrievable tool to access the top packer. Once positioned, elevate the tool to shear the support sleeve's pin, while an elastic claw engages with the packer's left-hand thread, allowing for the elegant retrieval of the packer.
